Be sure your vehicle is eligible with the AVS kit.
If you’re planning to operate your vehicle in London, and various other cites, it makes a lot of sense to be aware of the requirements of the Direct Vision Standard, and to comply with them. AVS can ensure your fleet is DVS compliant with our reliable, industry-leading DVS kits.
Our range of high-resolution vehicle camera systems are high quality with all meeting or surpassing DVS standards.

The Direct Vision Standard
“The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) and safety permit for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) requires operators of lorries over 12 tonnes gross vehicle weight to obtain a safety permit before entering and operating in most of Greater London.
The Direct Vision Standard measures how much an HGV driver can see directly through their cab windows. This indicates the level of risk to vulnerable road users, such as people walking and cycling, near the vehicle.”
Blind Spots
Vehicle blind spots are a huge contributory factor in collisions in all industries. The substantial height and length of many vehicles and machines greatly limit driver visibility. Operator positions, bodywork panels, absent rear windows and bulkheads all create further restrictions.
AVS supply the DVS solution for your fleet.
A DVS kit makes a good investment
Even if you don’t legally need to fit a DVS kit it could still make a very wise investment by providing the driver with minimal blind spots. Making costly accidents (and worse) that much less likely.
